Photocatalysis and Electrochemistry

Photocatalysis is the change in the rate of a chemical reaction under in the presence of light. Its occurrence under the function of ultraviolet, visible, or infrared radiation in the presence of a photocatalyst. It absorbs light and is involved in the chemical transformation of the reactants. It is the study of physical chemistry concerned with the interaction of light with electrochemical systems. It is an active domain of the chemical reactions.
