Matter waves and Particle beams

In the theory of quantum mechanics matter waves are the central part ,an example of wave–particle duality. Every matter exhibits the behavior like wave. For example, a beam of electrons can be diffracted  like a beam of light. In  Many cases however, the wavelength is very small to have a practical impact on everyday  activities.
