Ilaria Baglivo works at the Department of Environmental, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in Caserta – Italy. He had her master degree in Biology at Federico II University in Naples (Italy) and soon after she was selected for the PhD program at the Second University of Naples. Today, she is a researcher in Biochemistry and teaches biochemistry for students attending courses to have their degree in biotechnology. Dr. Baglivo research activity has been always focused on protein-DNA interaction with a particular interest in studying zinc-finger protein, which constitute the largest class of transcription factors in eukaryotic and are involved in many fundamental biological processes. The findings of her research are published in peer-reviewed international journal with impact factors
