STD and HIV Infection

Sexually Transmitted Diseases are the infections that spread from person   to person through sexual activity, including anal, vaginal, or oral sex. Sexually Transmitted infections, if not treated, becomes disease and these infections may not have symptoms but must be treated.

  • Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
  • Chlamydia.
  • Gonorrhea.
  • Hepatitis.
  • Herpes.
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
  • HIV/AIDS

AIDS is a chronic disease, caused by HIV. It damages the body immune system and involves in  body's ability to fight infection and disease.

HIV can spread from the blood, sexual activity with infected persons or through infectious needles. It can even spread from mother to child during pregnancy or breast feeding or during child birth.
