Plants Diseases and Infection Control

There are various plant diseases that causes the impairment of the plant and interrupts its normal functions. The occurrence of the disease varies from season to season, basing on the pathogen, environmental conditions, variety of plant. There are many chemicals commercially available for infection control in plants. These are designed for killing the disease causing pathogen or by inhibiting their growth. These chemicals may be bactericides, fungicides, nematicides, which are applied or sprayed on the seeds, soil, leaves, flowers, fruits or soil.
