Food Microbiology

Food microbiology deals with the microorganisms that inhabit, colonise, modify, or contaminate food It is one of the most diverse research areas within microbiology. It is important to understand the connection among different microorganisms to make micro flora of a food. For the food production microbes such as moulds, bacteria, are employed and food components such as production of bakery, wine, beer and dairy products.
