Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry is the study of compounds primarily composed of carbon and hydrogen, often in combination with other elements such as oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, and halogens. It encompasses the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and synthesis of organic compounds. Inorganic Chemistry deals with the study of inorganic compounds, which typically do not contain carbon-hydrogen bonds. It involves the examination of compounds that are composed of elements other than carbon, such as metals, minerals, salts, and non-metallic compounds. Inorganic chemistry explores the behavior, properties, structures, and reactions of these substances.
