Central Nervour System

The central nervous system (CNS) is a complex network of nerves and cells that play a fundamental role in processing information and coordinating the activities of the body. It is composed of two main components: the brain and the spinal cord.

Brain: The brain is the control center of the nervous system and is responsible for interpreting and integrating information received from the body's sensory organs, processing thoughts, emotions, and memories, and generating responses to stimuli. It is divided into various regions, each with specific functions, such as the cerebrum (responsible for conscious thought and voluntary actions), cerebellum (involved in coordination and balance), and brainstem (controlling basic life functions like breathing and heart rate).

Spinal Cord: The spinal cord is a long, tubular structure that extends from the base of the brain down the vertebral column. I Its function is to facilitate the transmission of nerve signals between the brain and the rest of the body. The spinal cord is responsible for transmitting sensory information from the body to the brain and sending motor commands from the brain to muscles and glands.
