Rhinology and sinus surgery

Rhinology is study of the medical science devoted to the structure, physiology and disorders of nose. Experts in this field are known as Rhinologists who have special proficiency in the medical and surgical treatment of nasal and sinus diseases.

Sinus surgery is a process that is available to ENTs to help patients retrieve from intermittent sinus symptoms. Sinus surgery allows the doctor to open pathways and enhance airflow. Another usual cause for surgery is a nasal neoplasm. Enlarged cysts or clusters of cysts are inflammation of the nasal membrane inside the nose.
