This cancer affects the female reproductive organs. Gynecologic cancer can begin in a variety of locations in a woman's pelvis, including the area beneath the stomach and between the hip bones. Cervical cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, and fallopian tube cancer are all types of gynecologic cancers. Fallopian tube cancer is an extremely rare form of cancer.
