Dr. Bonny Chow, M.D., has her expertise in the field of biobanking and cell-based therapies to provide alternative healthcare options for contemporary health management. Her master’s thesis explored the translational potential of a variety of mesenchymal stem cells, deriving from adipose tissue, umbilical cord and dental pulp. Afterwards, she has brought her work further in the dermal rejuvenation arena and assisted different companies to launch anti-aging skin care solutions, mainly involve the use of stem cells to restore and promote the regeneration of the epidermal barrier. She has passion in unwrapping the secrets of cell senescence, which has driven her to deepen her knowledge in systemic chronic inflammation. She is currently a PhD student in Medical Oncology at the Oncology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University in China, and her major research area includes cytokine-induced senescence in tumour microenvironment, as well as developing biosensor-based therapeutic tools empowered by synthetic biology. Her interest lies in nano-immune interventions and she is enthusiastic about discovering unique opportunities of nanotechnology in synergizing cancer treatment. She is committed to develop market-based solutions to facilitate the development of quality bench-to-bedside translational research.
