Holography and Fiber Devices

These are virtual,  three-dimensional images produced by the interference of light beams that reflect real physical objects.
Types of holography:

  • Hybrid Hologram: There is no need for real object. Interference pattern is calculated digitally using computer algorithms.Between the reflection and transmission types of holograms, many variations can be made. 
  • Trasmission Holograms: The object and reference beam incident on holographic film is on the same side. It is less expensive if mass produced.The prototypical transmission hologram is observe  through  laser light, commonly  the same type used to make the recording. 
  • The reflection Hologram: the reflection hologram are also called as transmission hplogram  it was made up of interfering the reference beam  with the object beam opposite sides of the holographic film . a real hologram have a two dimentional surface and it consists  three dimentional information . in that the light reflection off the hologram  takes place
