Today, more than ever, the need for new materials with desirable properties is present in nearly every segment of our everyday lives. To us scientists this quest often becomes an exceptionally challenging task as such materials should be both functional and environmentally benign, while produced through economically efficient procedures. Having the opportunity to present your work, to discuss and exchange ideas with your colleagues both from the academy and industry as well as to establish new connections and collaborations, makes this journey considerably less demanding. The 2nd European Congress on Chemistry and Applied Sciences was held on November 9 and 10 in Paris. Professors, scientists and researchers had an opportunity to present their ideas and valuable work. All the lectures were interesting, and different achievements, from academic research to industrial applications, were presented to the scientific community. The conference also allowed the participants to become familiar with various achievements and knowledge beyond their area of interest.
Dear Colleagues and Friends, Myself Ms Sneha S Lavate, Senior Research Fellow, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gujarat, India. I would like to thank the organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering for such a wonderful, exciting, and knowledge-gaining conference. I also thank them for providing me an opportunity to present my research work in front of the global research community. The conference was full of knowledge gaining and also had good connections over networking. During the conference, had exposure to the versatile fields of chemistry and catalysis.
