Clinical and Medical Case Reports

Clinical and Medical Case Reports

Clinical Case Reports are a standard set of criteria for determining whether a person has a particular disease, syndrome, or other health condition. As national standards to ensure comparability, some case definitions, particularly those used for national surveillance, have been developed and adopted. A clinical case is a comprehensive account of a patient's symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Case Reports, which typically describe an unusual or novel occurrence, continue to be one of the foundations of medical advancement and provide numerous novel medical concepts.
