Biography

Miriam Aparicio is an Emeritus Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina) and holds the title of professeure des universités in France in both Education and Psychology. She has taught at universities across Argentina, the Americas, and Europe. She holds six degrees in Education, Social Psychology, Organizational Psychology, and Social Communication, including two PhDs (UCA, Argentina; Université Paris V, France) and HDR qualifications in Education and Psychology (France). She graduated with top honors in all her degrees. A pioneer of Social Psychology in Argentina and a Lead Researcher at CONICET, her research focuses on education, professional development, employability, identity, organizational processes, and global socio-psychological dynamics. She has authored 25 books, over 150 indexed articles, and numerous book chapters in Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese. She has spoken at over 270 conferences, conducted academic activities in 56 countries, and served as a researcher or advisor for multiple international institutions and projects. Aparicio has trained 167 researchers and developed interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks to analyze macro, meso, and micro social dynamics, particularly within emerging countries. She is a member of 22 international scientific societies, serves on 29 editorial boards, and is a reviewer for 94 academic journals worldwide. Her work has earned her 66 distinctions, including the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award (India).
