Hülya Coskun holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and a Master of Science (M.Sci.) in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSU) in Istanbul, Türkiye. She pursued doctoral studies in Urban Planning at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville (ENSA-PB) in Paris, France, and earned her Ph.D. in Architecture from MSGSU with a dissertation titled "The Housing Problem in the First Half of the 20th Century in Europe and the Henri Prost Example." Her academic background reflects a dual education and degree in Architecture and Urbanism. Hülya Coskun research interests include architectural theory and design, city planning and theory, CIAM, climate change, COVID-19, eco-cities, Earth summits, global warming, green architecture, housing, migration, pandemics, parametric architecture, sustainability, sustainable development goals, and urban planning.
