Professor
Artois University
France
H. Naji is a full Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Artois University (France). He held his Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the University of Lille (France), and the M.Sc. in Thermal-Fluid Sciences at the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL), Nancy, France. He was a guest researcher (1 year) at the Reacting Gas Dynamics Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA 02139, USA. His research covers computational engineering with application to thermal-fluid sciences, advanced heat transfers and numerical methods for multi-scale simulations (mesoscopic and macroscopic approaches). He is a fellow of various professional institutes and societies (e.g., the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE), the Thermal French Society, etc.) and is regularly invited as keynote speaker at local and international conferences. He supervised over 100 M.Sc., Ph.D. and postdoctoral students, many of whom are leaders in academia, industry and even government; published several referenced articles (>120) and conferences (>300) in leading journals and conferences, and lectured extensively worldwide. He is a referee for many leading scientific journals.
