Professor Juchul Jung is a distinguished scholar specializing in sustainable urban regeneration and climate change adaptation in the field of urban planning and engineering. He is a professor and Dean of the College of Engineering at Pusan National University, where he leads interdisciplinary collaboration and academic advancement.

Professor Jung’s research focuses on integrating climate vulnerability into urban planning and developing indicators and frameworks to address social and environmental inequalities. His leadership has significantly contributed to advancing urban planning centered on sustainability and resilience, offering crucial criteria for urban policy and regeneration project evaluation.
