Xiang graduated with a bachelor's degree from Wuhan University in 2005. He received his Ph.D. from the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Kunming Institute of Zoology) in 2012. After completing his doctorate, he started as an Assistant Professor at the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. In 2017, Dr. Xiang joined the Institute of Human Aging at Nanchang University, where he currently leads the research group focusing on metabolic control and aging.Dr. Xiang graduated with a bachelor's degree from Wuhan University in 2005.
